It's been over 20 years now since I've had my natural hair color. It was brown but from what I've seen of my roots, it's now about 50 percent grey. When I was a baby my hair grew in blond/white and like most people, as time went on, changed color. There is nothing wrong with my natural hair color but I never felt like myself having it. I grew up in the 80's with characters like Rainbow Brite and Jem and the Holograms, worlds with some of the best rainbow hair. Why couldn't I have rainbow hair too? I wasn't able to dye my hair when I was younger and at that time period we didn't really have the best of dyes for long lasting bright colors anyway. It wasn't until the late 90's that I finally started to play with colors other than blond. I don't know if I ever see myself with my natural hair, I will probably be dying it until it's all turns white. It's just much more fun this way. I can be a different version of myself with each color and I love that!

Many years ago I started saving photo inspiration of fun hair on Pinterest and I still add to it on a regular basis. With all the dyes available now, there are so many fun and unique combinations people have come up with. I decided to pull a few of my favorites together to share and hopefully inspire. I wasn't able to find the direct source for all images so if you know the source of any not provided, please let know so I can properly credit!
